Hosting and Sponsorship

Offer an accessible and inclusive tentpole event for your community to connect with a network of values-driven scholars, educators, and innovators. CLS2025 offers a unique hybrid and community-driven design where organizations host local gatherings connected to an international online conference and network. 

Hosting organizations will receive:

  • Unlimited free registrations to the online event for your affiliated faculty, students, researchers, developers, and educators. Remove financial, mobility, and background experience barriers for everyone to access online:

      • Meetups with like-minded innovators, practitioners and scholars
      • Workshops and roundtables organized by field leaders
      • Keynotes and plenary panels with inspiring speakers and digging into the burning issues for the field
  • Guaranteed spots for the online Rising Scholars workshop for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars for networking and professional development with peers and senior scholars
  • Logo visibility and recognition throughout the Connected Learning Summit event platforms and communications
  • An event organizing and promotion toolkit to support you in hosting your local gathering
  • The satisfaction and local pride in building an innovative, inclusive, and sustainable event, and contributing to a values-driven global network of practitioners, designers, and researchers

Hosting organizations will need to:

  • Contribute to a local gathering that brings people together around the online event. This could be a watch party for a live streamed keynote or plenary, a conversation organized around the conference, or joint participation in a component of the event. A small number of anchor hosts will be organizing the keynotes or plenaries that will be streamed to the online event
  • $5000 financial sponsorship of the online event
  • Promote the conference to your community, including event attendance as well as participation through:
      • Submissions to showcases and research papers
      • Contributing ideas for sessions and giving feedback/input on the event
      • Participating as reviewers
      • Identifying emerging scholars for Rising Scholars
